| The Wise OWL......... ![]() | Re: Amp integration using stock radio Try tapping off of your sun roof fuse for the RAP signal. You may want to go through a relay to isolate any feedback from the sun roof motor or prevent over loading the SR circuit. |

| The Wise OWL......... ![]() | Re: Amp integration using stock radio For 2008's the RAP relay is # 58. Tap off of your Power Window fuse # 42. Located at the top right of your fuse box, second one down. It should be a square 30 amp fuse. |

| Honorary Cap Chap Member | Re: Amp integration using stock radio you can always go to the ignition wire on the steering column, its easy to get to and you know it will work |

| It's not RED! | Re: Amp integration using stock radio Yea, im sure...but I really dont want to be poking around wires dealing with the ignition...This truck is my daily, I've learned all my lessons the hard way, and I don't feel like learning another ![]() Thanks though!

| It's not RED! | Re: Amp integration using stock radio I got a box for 2 8's from a member on here who got it from a guy on ebay that goes under the back seat...not sure about my amp yet...its so small i may put it under my driver seat. I mounted my line level converter behind the radio and i'm also running basically a bass knob for line level in my glovebox....all stealth!

| It's not RED! | Re: Amp integration using stock radio Got it working last night...actually suprised me how well it sounds...especially for having a stock radio. Heres the run down of my setup: PAC SNI-35 line level converter PAC LC-1 Bass control knob Some old ass 150w amp i had laying around (mounted under the seat) Rockford P1 8" Ebay box that goes under the seat for crew cabs For anyone wanting to do this: you'll need an amp turn-on wire (remote turn-on)...i got a "Tap-a-fuse" from the local parts store and tapped off the IGN fuse...it should have a 15 amp fuse in it...put that back in th spot closest to the prongs and use a 5A for the amp turn on wire.
