Routing speaker wire in crew-cab... also into doors?

Where / how is the best route to run speaker wires from under the rear seat to the front doors?

Under the cab inside the frame rails? Inside under the carpet?

Also, has anyone managed to run speaker wires into the front doors without removing the door from the hinges?
Maybe by using the factory speaker wire as a pull-wire I'm guessing?

Thanks for any experience you can share.

I dont know about running the wires through the door but i believe it'd be easier to run it under the carpet instead of outside the truck. It you find out how its routed through the door if you can i'd try and cut the wires and take the new wires to them and then pull them through with the old wires. Just a thought.

Under the carpet to the door sill molding (Just pull up on it, It will come off), to the kick panel. Use a long skinny zip tie and try to fish it through the tube where the wires run from the body to the door. If you get the zip tie through, electrical tape the wires to it and pull them through.

using stock wires as a pull wire sounds like a good idea. Not sure how it works in practice but let us know what you end up doing.

Traditionally you'd run it through the door sills, pull up the kick plate that you step on when you enter the vehicle.

Make sure you run your signal wires from your HU to your amp away from the battery power feed.

Remove the door sills and the interior trim pieces, pull your carpet up a little(depending on where this wire is coming from under the seat, you may need to loosen the bolts or remove the back seat) run the wire under the carpet/door sills to keep it hidden. Open the desired door, and pull the rubber boot back. Run wire up to and through the boot(which can be a bit of a pain). Mission accomplished!

I thought these trucks had male/female plugs on the door harness that would make pulling wires through impossible without poking a hole.

They do so what I did was drill a hole in the plug and ran the wires through . As for pulling the wires without removing the front doors I couldn't get it done so I pulled the doors. It was pretty easy but you need a helper.
Here is a few pics of how I did it.
