sub/amp combo unit?

Anyone run anything like this?

Soundstorm/SSL LoPro8 8" 600W Low Profile Amplified Subwoofer w/ Remote Subwoofer Level Control

Just curious if it is decent. I know it won't be super kick ass but looks easy to install and hide under/behind my rear seat.

Re: sub/amp combo unit?

Yeah I saw it and thought it looked neat. If it sounds decent I might get one or two

The set up I have was all sold to me as 1 unit. That's what I thought you had posted

Might as well test it out and put a vid on youtube for us all to see, worst outcome is you dont like it and can return it.

Re: sub/amp combo unit?

To me they dont sound that great but you get what you pay for. The bass sounds more like thud then a hum. I guess it all depends on what kind of sound you are looking for.
