I have a Hurst line lock on my el camino. Very effective, easy install.

Re: line locks

It's basically an electric solenoid that you install in the front brake lines, then wire up a switch in the cab somewhere. Flip the switch, and it locks the front brakes down. You will probably need a flaring tool for the brake lines, but it's a very easy install. Took me maybe 2 hours to do the camino.

When you're searching around, remember that some of the old school companies (Hurst, B & M, etc.) call it a roll control instead of a line lock.

Re: line locks

you said it was crappy and underbuilt... but anyways i plan on doin a line lock..but i dont like how you apply the brakes then click it, and it holds the front...what i want to do is click it, and have it block the rear brakes...do i can control the amount of front brake force , so i can creep n burn at the track or red light...
