How to change the drivers side low beam?

How in the hell do you reach the bulb?
I had to change the passengers side (low beam) yesterday and that was a pain in the butt to get to, and today I was looking at the drivers side low beam/drl and there is no way I can get my arm in there to even touch it.
Am I overlooking an obvious way to get to this with out taking a bunch of stuff off?
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: How to change the drivers side low beam?

Or just do it the easy way, takes 2 seconds to pull your grille off and then pull the headlight asssembly. It only has two 10mm bolts. It will take you all of 3 minutes to do without fucking your arm up

Re: How to change the drivers side low beam?

My fat arms wouldn't fit, so I just took the grill off and unbolted the whole light housing. It was pretty straight forward.

That is how I do it too.

Although it takes me 10 minutes to remove grille and headlight assembly.

Re: How to change the drivers side low beam?

what the hell? im 6ft 280 and i was able to install HIDs without taking a single thing out accept that battery vent (which is gone now).

i guess if you really dont want to just jam your arm in there pulling the grille and headlight assembly is the only easier way to go just seems like a shitload of work for that...

Re: How to change the drivers side low beam?

Thanks folks, I will take a better look tomorrow.
And I have a push bar/grill guard and I sure as hell am not taking that off to change a bulb.
I don't have forearms like Popeye but I damn near got my arm stuck doing the passenger side and there seemed to be a lot less space on the drivers side.
Thanks for the help, I will let you know what happens.
