I like the idea that jeeps have and with Bohner having done it first, that i saw. I liked it since i want more lights on my truck, i asked about it. lol
I actually wasn't the originator of the idea Crazeecowboy? or something like that was the guys name who I saw with them on this forum so I asked him about it and did it to my truck
Got any up close pics of the brackets? How sturdy are the mounts? Do the lights bounce much at all or from the brackets when the trucks moving? I hate bouncing lightpatterns even on auxiliary lights

Bohner, I used the Hole you drilled into the bracket to as the mount for the light and then drilled a hole into the longer end to mount it to the hood. there isnt any bounce at all.
Good thinkin I just used the longer end to mount mine cuz the stud on the bottom of my daylighter is close I thought about cutting them down but I've been afraid that would hit I've been thinking about doing a redesign but haven't gotten around to it good to know man
I made mounts of a similar design. As far as how mine are, i wrapped them in electrical tape for color and to prevent rubbing. After getting the bend right, i have it so the mount fits right between the two without touching and no damage to the finish...however, mine do rub the metal on the bottom of the inside of the fender when closed.
damn am i glad i dont live in PA those lites would make run into a tree from blindness
