If you take a real close look at that dyno chart again you will see the stock HP line dipping under 3000RPM and our line is pretty consistent. You are correct that many after market exhaust systems and universal mufflers will likely do more bad than good, but our system is different. How many companies design a muffler and tune it specifically for these motors?

it's purely up to you bro. i built my intake and it's louder than the exhaust at half throttle to WOT
check out this vid. it's my intake that i made on another members truck

you can hear my truck well over a half mile away at wot no matter the exhaust. I've built 6 intaked and all users love the sound. it dont matter cherry bomb, flowmaster, magnaflow, stock, they cant hear it over the intake

Nice setup, went to my local Home Depot to check to see if they had similar pipe.
The guys there said that my store is "a smaller store" so they have up to 2" but not any bigger. I'll keep looking.

well if youre looking to do an intake like mine home depot no longer sells the exact tube that i use. youll need a sched 80 3in 90 deg sweep at 24in radius. if you merely want to delete the resonater you can get a 45deg 24in rad sched 40 3in tube which home depot might sell.
