Plasti Dip...let's see how far this goes

I know I'm beating a dead horse with another plasti dip thread, but i figured I'd show off my plasti dip timeline too. I'm plasti dipping all my chrome and possibly the cowl on my cowl hood when I get it. Anyways, here's my first shot, tailgate handle and badge.

Before:

After:

More to come. I've got both bumpers, the grill and the door handles left...and the hood, maybe, but I have to buy that guy first.

I am deciding whether or not to paint my brake calipers too. They will be red. If I do that I'll throw that in here too. Stay tuned for more.

Looks good. Plasti-dip is in my future as well with a few things. I like the letters blacked out like that.

Re: Plasti Dip...let's see how far this goes

No worries guys. Job requires me to stay fit and this was just after the gym so it is what it is. I'm getting ready to do the door handles and hopefully the grill now

Re: Plasti Dip...let's see how far this goes

I'm doing my bezel/air vents with it sometime this week maybe this weekend.. i painted them blue with krylon and hate it so my easy fix is going to be plasti dip instead of having to do 1000 coats of black krylon along with sanding and all the good stuff

just got back from home dePOT, picked up 2 cans for $12.71

Re: Plasti Dip...let's see how far this goes

Well, I plasti dipped my door handles....then took it off. Lesson, don't let the tape land on the recently plasti dipped surface. Good thing it's easy to take off. Well...look forward to round two of the door handles.
