Aftermarket Differential Cover

stumbled upon these

YourCovers.com PML Torsen Differential Cover

i know they dont make many/any diff covers for our axles, but came across these.. Was thinking about buying a cast one and putting in on the buffing wheel to polish it.

I searched the forums and a few people mentioned they have never seen or heard of a diff cover that fits the canyon/colorado axles, well here they are.

also dont buy directly, found cheaper prices elsewhere. This yourcovers site i believe is the manufacturer PML Covers.

Volume: 0.5 qt. over stock

Dimensions: Click here for dimensions.

This rear end cover fits the Torsen rear axle on 2003-2006 Chevrolet SSR with automatic transmission. This diff cover may also fit other GM trucks and SUVs such as Trailblazer and Envoy as follows:
•2002-05 Trailblazer / Envoy (except SS) — this diff cover has been installed on a 2005 Envoy
•2006-07 Trailblazer EXT / Envoy XUV (except SS)
•2002-04 Olds Bravada
•2005 Buick Renier
•2002-07 Colorado / Canyon
•2005-09 Saab 9-7X — this diff cover has been installed on a 2008 4.2L Saab 9-7X

If you have one of the above vehicles or another vehicle with this rear axle, please let us know (yourcovers@pmli.com). We are collecting info on makes/models and any interference with stock or aftermarket products.

This cover has a fill hole on the top and a drain plug. For an additional $40 machining fee, this cover can be machined for a 1/8" NPT temperature sensor. The boss centered on the right side is left unmachined. It is there for future applications for this differential.

For a larger picture, please click one of the above images. A separate window will open showing a bigger picture. (The larger pictures take a minute to display.)

PML Differential Cover Features:
•Increased oil capacity for cooler temperatures
•Sand-cast aluminum with raised fins
•3/16-inch thick wall construction to add strength to differential housing
•3/8-inch thick gasket flange will not bend when bolts are tightened
•Machined gasket surface for a secure seal using RTV or factory reusable gasket
•Oil changes without removing the cover
•All hardware provided, including magnetic drain plug

Re: Aftermarket Differential Cover

So I put one of these on because my fill bolt is stripped, what's the rated capacity exactly now? It's supposed to hold 3.4 pints and the cover says up there that it adds 0.5 quart. Do you think I can get by with just the 2 quarts?
