Idle Issues

I have a 2005 3.5l auto with 127k miles. I bought it in febuary of 2011 with 120k miles. I seem to be having a low idle, when in park, it fluctuates into a low idle, it goes from about 750rpm-450rpm and back up. The whole truck shakes and its really annoying. the truck runs fine, no issues other than the low idle. My question is, what does your 3.5l idle at, and does it do anything similar? And is there some way that i can adjust the idle??

Re: Idle Issues

This sounds like the typical dirty throttle body and MAF.

I would clean both of them see if it evens out.

Re: Idle Issues

Real easy here you go:

How To: Change Spark Plugs & Clean The Throttle Body

Just make sure to use the proper cleaner for each item.
