Re: 4wd problem

tried all those things and checked fuses but still nothing. i also looked in my manual about it and it says to put in N then push 4high then shift into P and wait for light to stop flashing but it never stops flashing. i can hear the motor running trying to engage it but it just doesn't want to lock in

Re: 4wd problem

the only other simple fix i could think of would be to basicaly reset your system by disconnecting your battery but the likelyhood of that actually working isn't very good

Re: 4wd problem

not sure but try when you dissconect the battery to take the negative with the positive still conected and touch the positive pole and it might reset the bcm if that could have anything to do with it.
good luck

Re: 4wd problem

went in to dealer this morning and they found a wire that was disconnected somewhere under the hood so i ask if it was diconnected when they replaced my head two weeks ago and wasn't reconnected when they finished the repair and it turns out that was what happend so they gave me back my keys with their apologies and a have a nice weekend. so glad i had to fight through the snow in rush hour becouse they didn't reconnect a wire.
