I acutally was specifically asking about that a few weeks ago and a couple of the guys I know locally responded that their insurance company would cover it as long as you were actually on a marked trail as they still count as "roads". Granted I suppose that it depends on what company you are with.

In any case, if the guy had the money to build that truck, I bet he has the money to fix it and not even worry about it.

Eh, it's a toss up really. There is deffinatly no repairing that body, that's for sure. They may write it for a new body, that's happened before. Find one with like water damage or something and swap it over. I've put a whole cab on a silverado before (brand new take-off.) but that's a truck, not a SUV.

Well, I guess you could pull all that out, and replace all the pieces you needed to, but it would take ALOT less effort and probably the same or less money to just put a whole new cab on it.

I don't think they'll total it, there's alot of damage there, but it would prolly take like $20-$25K to total that thing...
