Re: manual window crank problem

Never had it happen but that would be my guess. Check the teeth, you might have to pull the whole thing out. I had a Socal guy have problems with his power windows and when he pulled them out the metal had cracked where the teeth are and was causing the to grind and pop..

Re: manual window crank problem

Will the window stay where it is at? If the window will slide down by pushing down on it, there might be a problem with the regulator. Just throwing that out there

Re: manual window crank problem

i found the problem.....the bracket that holds the crank snug up to the teeth of the gears is cracked and when i go to wind it up instead of cacthin the teeth, the pressure jus bends the bracket and the crank moves further away from the teeth... how im gonna fix it i havent figured it out yet.

If you need another one hit up celio, he converted his to power and still has his manuals I believe. I'm still waiting for the right switches to do mine..
