I'd say it's worth waiting for.

Re: Cracked UCA

Just weld them then flip the balljoints simple cheap fix that if done right will last.

Steel is steel. It's not crap. It wasn't designed to be put at such harsh angles so it failed due to being pushed beyond its design limits. What makes you think welding it up isn't a good fix or a right fix?

Re: Cracked UCA

With it welded, it will work, but still harsh angles. Weld it for now, until you can get some made.

Re: Cracked UCA

Like I said just weld it and flip the balljoints and make a angled spacer.

Unless you heat treat the arms after welding the welds will be more brittle compared to the surrounding metal. It will crack again.

MOZ - Exactly what pappa said. By welding ur stressing the metal around the weld which will just make it break again in a different spot. Plus it cracked for a reason (being the geometry isn't perfect for that amount of lift. Sure go ahead and replace it with the same thing that broke but to me that makes no sense. Why not just get a set of arms made that is actually designed for the right angles and whatnot and more than likely is quite a bit stronger than stock. Seems like a no brainer to me if you know someone or a shop who can do it for u. Also steel is not just steel. There's tons of different strengths and whatnot. Cromo is definatly going to be stronger than the shit stock uppers. Not saying you need chromo, purely just an example. U said it yourself too, the stock piece was not designed for the extreme angles and stress so why replace it with the same thing?
