MC posted a link to a site selling short powdercoated antennas quite some time back.

Anyone have that link handy??

I think I might try a hidden antenna. :shrug:

You mean you won't get mad that some truck that you'll never see in person owned by a guy you only know online might have a mod that similar to one that's on your truck? OMGUARTEHNICE! :lmao:

I might try it, I'll probably just cut it down and put the stock rubber tip over the cut area. I'll leave it black to keep it from standing out. If I don't like it or it loses too much reception then I'll order one of those hidden one's to try out.

I bought one of those electric hidden antenna's to try out on my Harley. The package claimed better that the stock mast. Well the stock mast is what went back on my bike. From my experience I wouldn't waist any money on one. The reception was shitty at best.

All I listen to is the radio. Even on trips where I bitch about not being able to find a good station. :lol:

rrcn nabbed my antenna and improved on it! lol. had mine chopped down, removed wound wire, ran bicycle brake housing over it. did this last summer. came out decent for a 10 minute mod haha. atleast decent enough to not bother changing it.
