Ok so i got a ss gen 2 bumper cover and i'm not positive how to install it like i know the grill comes out and u have to take the bottom part off but like where are u guys putting the screws because i don't want them hanging out for everyone to see... I was also wondering if when u guys got urs did the top part of it was it like wavy will it straighten out once mounted????
I just used 3m double sided tape on the top and put the screws in the end of the bumper cover. Yes the 3m tape is a bitch to remove if you gotta pull the bumper cover, but it holds the top completely flat. Also since no one has mentioned it you might want to line the bumper with something to keep it from squeeking. I know someone else here has done it and I've done it as well, line it bumper with the soft side of some velcro and make sure that it doesn't touch the edge of the fender at all or it will drive you nuckin' futs.
wen i bought mine it came folded in thirds in a box that came up to my waste but when it got put on it smoothed right out and ive had no problems with it..i just wish i couls find a roll pan with the "SS" style inserts in it like the silverdo has
i screwed into mine after having it painted and not chips not even cracks. however i had to notch mine b/c of the squeaking and i did get spider web like cracks about 2'' from where i cut into it. its not noticeable unless your right up on it.
the fogs are a PITA. if you can get someone to help you by all means get someone.
thank you!! but couldnt wait just ordered i know ill find a better deal after i buy it always happens but my truck is in the shop till next week so id like to have a gift for it when it comes home  merry Christmas to ME!
