My a/c completely isn't working, it was absolutely fine yesterday now today none of the dials work or anything, do you think it is a switch problem? A fuse? something?
Well all I know is when that part craps out in my truck I can still hear the a/c start and stop to run and I can still turn it on and off with the controls usint either 0 for off and 1-4 for on(just no blower except on 4) see if that works...
This happpened to me leaving the golf course Sunday. It was raining like hell, I stopped to get a "road soda", when I got back in the A/C wouldn't work. None of the settings, nothing! I started driving and it slowly came back on. About 3 miles down the road everything was fine and I haven't had a problem since...WTF???
Not a GM mechanic but in home a/c's there is a delay to insure the system equalizes before startup otherwise it ends up being a hard start situation which is bad for the compressor unless setup for it. I just got my 2007 Colorado so I'm a newb....just throwing out some probably useless info.
 Coming from someone that might need A/C twice a year.........
