I just noticed that my bumpstops are retarded. i literally have like an inch of uptravel. i was gunna take them off and use my stock mounts but thats whay too much. wondering what i should do if anyone has had aftermarkets or if i should hack off these and reweld....let me know guys thanks!
nah i mean if you ride on rough ass roads all the time i would keep them but you dont have to have them.... they are just there to protect the frame but hell theyre just about as hard as the frame... take them off then you wont be beat to death all the time
i just looked and the lift uses an extension so ill just pop that bitch off and replace the bump its self with a softer longer one would give me a good 3 or 4 inches of uptravel
Maybe you wanna give these a try they don't make any products specifically for our trucks but I think these are universal they're like hydralic bump stops but they have a foam inside instead  just throwing that out there
indeed...im not geting rid of y bumpstops im just gunna get shorter ones that allow more room for uptravel...i just cant beleive i barely have an inch...im rocking 33's so i def need them or i wouldnt have fenders anymore lol.
my stops are at least that far and i dont hit. i'd say paint the spot under the stop white or some color so that if and when the stop does hit the arm youll know that the issue.
also how do you figure 4" of uptravel when the bump is less than an inch above the LCA? obvuiosly i know i have more then that in uptravel but im thinking like 2 inches but not 4
i'll go out an measure too whats the exact measurement from your bump to arm down?
