nah, didn't shorten it. On the end there's a little round piece that I shaved off. i"ll see if I can get you some pics.

I cut the section with the hole for the master cylinder out of the firewall and raised it 1.5"

umm i think he is saying his car from factory was keeping up with the factory other cars that were obviously alot faster than the civic. factory freak i think is just a term for people that race cars only at factory specs
