What is the explanation behind the 500 HD?

lol well i have the smallest truck of all my buddies. 3 of them have 2500 HD and 1 has a 3500 the rest are normal 1500's and one f150. so i got dubed the 500 HD lol they bought the letters and emblem for me and had me put them on. my truck is in a parade next month and they will be taken off by then lol.

No and im not going to i just gotta air the shocks up and the front end will nose dive

Now painting advice is needed cause I don't want paint chips. I am gonna take my grille off and paint it completely black and then put the cutout I just picked up.

How ever you have to do it lol. Since you sit higher then before itl be a good idea. Just trying to save you from getting a ticket. I almost never get flashed unless im coming over a hill lol

ya its a canyon grill they are all crome from factory

First and for most, you need to strip the chrome off the grill. Its only glued on the grill but very very well. If you can get a corner started you can strip it off like foil. Careful its sharp. It well take awhile. Also its handy to have a die grinder with a cookie pad on it for those hard to strip ones. Once the chrome is gone, sand smooth and your ready for paint.

I got leather gloves for a reason and couldn't one scuff it with rough sandpaper and then sand it down or is there a way to loosen the glue up at all. It is going black and never coming back

Have you try peeling from the edges??? Thats the best way to start. You might have to dig into it alittle. Try using a heat gun to loosen it up.

I don't have a heat gun here in chicago and I am gonna do it here to keep it under wraps from parents.
