Great site glad to be here. Here is my baby. New hood this week and paint week after next and New wheels ordered today. Ultra fritters 16x8 with 259mm offset. Gonna drop it maybe 2 and 2 trying to decide either with springs or ball joints up front and blocks in the rear wanna try and keep a good ride but she needs a little more attitude.

I have an office in Athens and do business in Knoxville and Chattanooga, live in Polk County though...

You're just in time for SESM the second weekend in October down at Stone Mountain, Georgia.
You'll meet a bunch of us and get deadly* ideas for your truck. Good Times.

Need a clarification: She'll be down 3-4 weeks exactly why? Is she down because mechanical or just her front end cosmetics (i.e. lights, grill, etc)?

<goes to take picture, brb>

If you just need light enclosures, I can help you out there:

I just took these off my 2008 Canyon, I was planning on cleaning them up and messing around, but if you want them, let's get them to you, and get her back on the road.
I'm sure there is somebody close with a spare grill... guys?

Honestly this is subjective. Ball joints and coils work for plenty of people. If it was me I wouldn't drop the coin required to get custom drop spindles. Nobody makes an on the shelf spindle for these trucks. I used qa1 coilovers to drop the front of my truck with no issues. Just saying when I looked into drop spindles there was only one company that could make them and they were north of 1K for them.

She was going to the body shop on the 265th anyway to paint the hood an d fix some hail damage @nd that was to take 7 to 10 days so I'm thinking another 7 to 10 days to fix the rest also. Gotta what @nd see what the insurance guy or gal says.

Spindles would be for a nice ride for sure but I'm a old man with a guitar habit so the balance of power needs to remain balanced so I can play with both. I'm going for blocks in rear and springs in front. A 2 inch drop should still leave me some what of a good ride. If not we'll I will back up and punt.
