Finally got everything worked out with the insurance company and got my pay off check from the Tonka Truck being totaled out. I was going to try to save it but being that it was at about 90k miles and an 05 I figured I would just let it go and start over. I had my eye on a 2010 colorado 2wd ext cab with a 5.3, it was a sick little truck but way over priced and i really wanted to go with a crew or a full size ext cab for the extra room. Looking around I found an even better deal though that I couldn't pass up so I ended up with this guy. Dealer pic ![]() 2009 GMC Sierra SLE Crew 2wd with the 4.8L V8. It only has 20k miles and I picked it up for a little under 20k. I would have rather gotten the 5.3L with the 6 speed but that didn't start until 2010 and that set up bumps up the price a lot from what I saw. So far all I have done is put on a tonneau cover so I can keep tools and what not in the bed. And I managed to remove the emblems from the tailgate and passenger side and the pinstripe and door moulding on the passenger side too. The tape they use to put on the side moulding is a nightmare and the weather hasn't been the best so I haven't made it to the drivers side yet lol. ![]() ![]() Plans are to hopefully static drop it for now, I'm thinking a 5/8 drop with helper bags because thats seems to be as low as I could go before getting into a notch. And then the usual color matching and tint type things. I'll still be around here though and updating my progress

They are nice trucks and the crew cabs have a huge amount of space in them. I had an 09 Sierra SLT Crew Cab 4wd Z71 with the 5.3l & 6 speed auto trans before I got my Canyon. I never really needed a truck that size and finally realized it and downsized.
