I have the feeling that we'll be seeing a lot of G8's in the 11's in the not-so-distant future. I know of a few shops that are working on it now. Love it.

How reliable would that be though? I always feel weary with a ton of power on otherwise stock motors....

that car? Id say is VERY reliable..

Its just a cam swap and a maggie (magna charger) and a tune..

when I was at the Hummer dealer we did a LOT of chargers on GTO's and H2's never had any problems..

I would take this car over a stock G8 with a big shot of gas reliability speaking

I wouldn't question the reliability either, especially if it was tuned by a reliable shop. Hell the GTO we have runs 11's (N/A though) and we've taken it all over this half the country and are going to TX with it this fall.

Those numbers do not surprise me either. An LSX with a maggie=badass.

For daily driving I love having a stick, but for racing a cammed and stalled auto is hard to beat.

Theres a local twin turbo G8 with the only mods being the turbos, front mout, tuning and a magnaflow axle back running bottom 11s at 130mph. Turbos are self contained, no wastegates, and bolt to the stock manifolds in place of the stock cats. Incredible system.
