| Members Technical Staff | Suspension Maxx is currently in the final design stages of lift shackles for the 355s. These shackles will be extremely durable and will allow the customer to get 1", 1.5", and 2" from the same shackle. If there is enough demand, SM will consider making shackles to give 2.5" of lift. Here's a sneak peak. Note: the center brace will be welded in place.

| Nation Advocate | Re: Lift Shackles (Maxx Shackle) Ya know the only thing I'm worried about when your taking your truck up so high (these on top of my 4" lift) is the severe angle of the drive shafts and into the transfer box. Or maybe I'm just ignorant on this matter. I welcome any input on my concerns.

| Members Technical Staff | Re: Lift Shackles (Maxx Shackle) "Hello, Larry?" "Yeah, it's Scott". "Better make a couple more sets of shackles for testing." ![]() Here's the deal. He plans to test fit a set on a member's truck from Bay City, MI. So I will ask him to make at least one more set for test fit purposes. That way there won't be anyone left out. Not making any promises, but I will see what I can do.

| Members Technical Staff | Re: Lift Shackles (Maxx Shackle) Larry did a quick fit of the shackles on WhoaShutItDown's truck today and found he needed to trim some off the brace. Another fit is scheduled tomorrow. Here's a pic courtesy of WhoaShutItDown:

| Members Technical Staff | Re: Lift Shackles (Maxx Shackle) (Updated 22 July) Since a lot of folks are 'chomping at the bit' to get a pair of shackles, Larry has fabbed up a set with three holes on top and a set with two holes on top. He will test fit them on Nick's truck later this week. I think the three hole version will have clearance issues, but the two hole should work. But either way, once he does the test fit, the shackles will go into production. Instead of powder coating the production shackles he is going to use a Magni coating. Powder coating can chip when a nut or bolt is tightened against the coating surface. The Magni coating doesn't chip and has been tested to withstand a 1,000 hours of salt spray. The finish color will be gray. They can be painted and only require scuffing the surface first. Cost: The shackles will retail on the website for $120. The members only price will be $96. May sound a bit pricey, but like anything Suspension Maxx builds, you are getting a quality product.

| Re: Lift Shackles (Maxx Shackle) (Updated 22 July) With the front lifted 2.50" and the back 1" you would be setting level or maybe a little low in the back. It depends how much rake your truck has now. |

| Custom Title Garnered | Re: Lift Shackles (Maxx Shackle) (Updated 22 July) So riddle me this... What do I need to lift the front??? I've already cranked the torsion bars to level it. Do the Suspension Maxx keys do the same thing as canking them and will I need to get bigger shocks frot the front? |

| Keith Stone | Re: Lift Shackles (Maxx Shackle) (Updated 22 July) To be honest, I'm a little disappointed in the price. I contributed to this project thinking that if these were to be mass produced, it would significantly drop the price. I'm not saying they're too much, just not what I was expecting. |
