Thumbs up 2WD Strut Spacer Kit (MAXX Stak)

Suspension Maxx has enough parts in stock for 3 complete 2WD strut spacer kits.
The kit will include a strut spacer, two shims for additional height, ball joint spacers, bump stop extensions, and hardware.

The part number on the website: SMX-10185 is just for the spacer and shims. If you want the complete kit, call Larry at 1-888-MAXX-CAM.
He owes me an email in the next day or two with a price on the complete kit.

Re: 2WD Strut Spacer Kit

Update:

Just wanted to pass along some info from Larry. The aluminum spacer by itself will give you 1.75" of lift. If you add 1 shim to it you will get a bit over 2"; adding both shims to the spacer gives you close to 2.5".

When Larry did the test fit on WhoaShutItDowns truck, he did some experimenting. Initially, he used just the aluminum spacer. Once it is fastened to the top of the strut, you have to spin the strut before you reinstall it. The bottom spring seat has an alignment nipple sticking out that would hit on the bump stop. Larry carefully ground off the nipple and got the strut assembly to pass the bump stop.

So if a customer decides that 1.75" of lift is enough, all he/she would need to do is grind off the nipple. No grinding on the bump stop mount is necessary. Grinding the bumpstop would only be required if one or both shims were used with the spacer.

He still owes me a 'members only' price. Should have a dollar figure in the next few days.

The part number for the spacer kit hasn't changed. Larry added new part numbers for the ball joint spacers and bump stop extensions.

That's because AdamB was kind enough to give Larry design specs and photos.

I thought they looked familiar....SO all 3 are exactly the same specs because SSR bought parts from Adam as well

AdamB's help saved a lot of time in getting the kit to market.

Shackles will raise it too.

BTW: When you get a chance, go to the SM website and submit a photo of your truck to the photo gallery. Let me know if you do so I can make sure it gets uploaded.
