Tuning in Houston

I tried to get my truck inspected today and out of all the illegal mods to my truck, they called me on the check engine light, and that's it. So I have 15 days to get the light gone and go back to not be charged for the inspection. It is the CAI that is throwing code "running lean - bank 1". Which I knew that so I'd like to find someone with HPTuners that can help me out, and tune the PCM for a smaller fee. Cause one, no shop so far knows what I'm even talking about, and the one shop I knew back home wanted an ton to tune it. And with only 15 days PCM4Less is not a reasonable solution, cause then I would have to pay for a case relearn too, which would suck. Thanks in advance for any help.

Two of the guys that can do it are gonna be at the meet this Sunday if ya wanna come out they might be able to do it for you. They are on the other site if you want their names let me know. Oh yea do you have a 4 or 5 cyl?

Ask XHRCustoms on cfans. I can't remember if he can do 4 cyl. The one guy only had the program for the 5.

If you know anyone with a ScanGaugeII, I think it can clear the check engine codes it may be throwing

But I'm sure you're probably in the market for a tune anyway...

If you are getting a lean code after installing the intake...check to make sure you have no leaks after the MAF anywhere...any air that gets past the MAF that isn't metered will cause that code to occur...I'd check that first before you do anything else...

it will help with fuel mileage big time! also better performance. I love my tune. I had it done by Stocker2.

nice truck... Yea I heard stocker2 does a good job, he gave his number but my phone never saved it for some reason it didn't save... U got It by any chance?
