Tuners

I would like some recommendations on what everyone thinks is the best tuner. I am in the market for a tuner and not sure what is the best bang for the buck.

I have a 09 colorado 3.7l with k&n, magnaflow daul exhaust, 2" lift, 265/75/16 tires, and hopefully soon a ptb from supermod.

Here are ones I was looking at:

DiabloSport I1000
Hypertech 32501
DiabloSport T-1000
HP Tuners 6021
HPtuners 6011
Jet Performance 14007

I also thought about going up to see Gary at AVT tuning

Any help is appreciated thanks

Re: Tuners

Getting a custom tune from Gerry will be much better than a hand held tuner

Re: Tuners

I've been using HP tuners Pro. It is complex but you can alter anything in the PCM you need to. Do allot of reading and ask questions. I am very happy with how my truck is tuned and my son's 2012 Camaro has a new life.

Re: Tuners

I'm looking to get a tune in the near future. How does one go about scheduling a tune by Gerry?

Thanks for the help.

Re: Tuners

If you want the best, Gerry is your man. His work comes at a premium price, but he's good at what he does. I'm a cheap fuck though, so I'm just going to pay $99 and have LimeQuat do mine at some point.

Re: Tuners

That's what I keep hearing, but I don't know his contact or location or how much he charges. Never heard of LimeQuat.

Re: Tuners

Gerry at AVT uses HPTuners. I have HPT on my laptop and it is great. but it is very complex, so you really need to know what youre doing. and it does more then jus tune, it is also a scanner.
