Magnaflow true duals??

I have heard a few sound clips of people with headers and the true duals but has anyone done a true dual from either the second cat or getting rid of the second cats? I really want to get true duals as opposed to the standard single pipe system but dont really have any deisre to get headers at this point.

Just do it. I dont have a soundclip for you but I did do true duals without gutting the cats w/ magnaflows and it sounded pretty good. There wasn't too much drone

I´m saving money for my first mod on my stock 2012, I´m in the same dilemma that you.

I have the Magnaflow single side exit with the stock manifold and catalytic converter but I admit, I still do love the sound of my exhuast!!

It's pretty deep and throaty for an I-5 but it doesn't compare to a V8 rumble. I'm happy with it though and would reccommend it to anyone.

Dual mags with x pipe. There is drone, reduced with several layers of Dynamat.

FYI tire stick out is not that much just looks like that because of the height i will get wheels bored to increase offset and tuck them in lol

Where/what kind of shops are you guys who have true custom exhaust work done going to? Especially anyone who might not have all/any of their cat's.

I went to a local exhaust shop and the guys said that they couldn't touch anything near the cat's due to federal law and they wouldn't do true duals because of it. Seemed like a weak excuse.

Then talked to a local speed shop and they quoted me anywhere between $1500-2500 for true duals...

around here almost any exhaust shop will cut the cats if you want to,, my custom exhaust ran me $500,, they removed everything from the headers back,, and ran 2 1/2" tubing,, x-pipe, 2 flowmaster 44's and 2 stainless steel 3 1/2" tips,,

What type of tubing did you go with? Stainless or mild steel?

find a better place to live first then mod the truck lol helps if you live in a red state

True dual mags, x-pipe, stainless 409, 2.5", 2 chrome tips, $800. Didn't remove any cats or fix the crushed mid pipe. Just removed from factory connections back.

too far to help lol its just a simple unbolt swap rebolt

nothing to it after your first time install run it for a day re check your bolts make sure they didnt get loose after that wait about a week or 2 and recheck just for safe measure good luck to ya!

Yeah but I'm going to run into the issue of torsion bars. I know you have to massage the pipes a little.
