Headers

Getting new Headers... Came across the Doug Thorley Headers. Looks like what I'm gonna get. Says it fit's 09-10. I have a 2012 there is no difference. But just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on another set to look check out. Or just go ahead and order these bad boys?

Re: Headers

He has 2wd and that's what the Doug -T headers were designed for , I have them on my 4x4 and love them they have been on almost a year , been four wheeling and they look like new still I highly recommend them but trash the clamps they send and get the ones that are a band that overlaps the joints

Re: Headers

No you were not lied to they do and don't fit , the way they sell them no they don't but if you hammer a dent/flat spot in the short connector tube on the pass side right above the t-bar they will then fit that is all I did to mine and I love them

Re: Headers

You wouldn't happen to have an actual number or estimate how much torque/power you gain with them?

Re: Headers

So you're saying there is no other way to avoid that? I'm gonna have to Flatten an area down to get them in?

If you dont have torsion bars your fine, I have coil overs and my bro has torsion bars and we both have doug thorly headers I did not have to modify nothing my bro only had to flaten out a spot sothe header will not make contact with the torsion bar thats it

Re: Headers

Well I ordered my headers today also bought myself a wide band sensor for tuning. Found the Headers on Amazon for about $50 cheaper. Which was awesome. The sensor was a lot but it's coming with a LCD screen that I can mount onto my dash. Can't wait to get everything in.
