| "daily driver" drag radials vs. extra pair of wheels I was originally gonna go buy a set of 15s and drag radials for the track, but now that my current tires are getting to their wear bars i'm wondering if i'd be better off running some drag radials out back w/ regular radial tires up front. With my current job i don't even get 8k per year. Its like 785$ for nitto drag radials out back and regular 555s out front. And roughly 400$ for the extra wheels and tires. |

| Nation Advocate | Re: "daily driver" drag radials vs. extra pair of wheels I agree i don't see them helping out unless you have some serious engine work done i would just go with a good pair of street tires especially if it's a daily driver |

| Nation Elite | Re: "daily driver" drag radials vs. extra pair of wheels you might hit 15s again with DR's. i would spend my money elsewhere. drag radials dont last long enough on the street, and if thats all youre making a year then you'd hate spending that much on tires again in 6 months. |

| Nation Elite | Re: "daily driver" drag radials vs. extra pair of wheels Pointless. Completly pointless. When I auto-crossed I had a full set of slicks and tell ya what the only ones that helped were the fronts. If your having traction issues get a really nice set of street tires and call it a day. |

| Tire Destroyer | Re: "daily driver" drag radials vs. extra pair of wheels waste of money man.. I got some drag radials and I didnt gain ANYTHING on my 60foots.. get a set of BFG Gforce sports, GFORCE KDW's or Nitto 555's

| Nation Advocate | Re: "daily driver" drag radials vs. extra pair of wheels I agree also, get some good street tires, drag radials are to expensive and last no time, and trust me at 800 a pair you will regret it. had bfg drag radials on my stang years ago, and they helped some, but honestly to repeat my self again wasn' t worth it.

| Tire Destroyer | Re: "daily driver" drag radials vs. extra pair of wheels oh.. btw, you know I have drag radials.. the ONLY reason I have them is cause I got them for cheap I didn't even put them on last time I went to the track.. Now.. street racing.. thats a diff story, I love my drag radials for that

| Re: "daily driver" drag radials vs. extra pair of wheels unless you are hitting 13s, you dont need DRs IMO.
