Will 265/75 16 fit on stock 2wd z85?

Found a set of hummer h3 rims and have a stock z85 2wd and wanted to know if a 265/75 16 will fit with no rubbing.

They will fit but the tires will most likely rub when turning full lock on the frame and swaybar.
Heres a couple of pics of my truck with that tire size. I'm pretty sure these wheels have the same offset as h3 wheels.

Is your truck a stock z85 with no suspension mods, and what kind of mpg are you getting

Yeah its a z85 and in those pics the suspension was completely stock. I'm not really sure how many mpg i got when i had those wheels on. I just put them on there for a couple weeks to see how they fit. But there definitely wasn't a huge difference that i noticed

Re: Will 265/75 16 fit on stock 2wd z85?

Well since those wheels were off a silverado(the green one beside it), the center bore wasn't big enough to fit around the hub.
If I was going to keep those wheels on there, i would have bored out the center to fit.

The ride was kinda bumpy because the wheels weren't bolted completey flat to the hub.
But with the h3 wheels, you should be good.

i had about 2 more inches of ground clearance. the bigger tires were 32" and my stock tires are only 28"

they are prob gonna rub some. your 2wd so just pick up some tacoma spacers and do shackles or aals out back? also what gears do you have? if they are 3.42s prepare to loose some serious city mpgs. highway wont be bad though.

maybe you prefer lift springs? LOL spacers are an easy way to get a lift that maintains decent ride quality.

Let me rephrase...why spacers for Tacomas? Are they better/cheaper than ones for Colorados?

Re: Will 265/75 16 fit on stock 2wd z85?

i am the perfect person for this question. i have H3's with a 2.5" lift on a 2wd Z85 and 245/75/16's. i rub on the sway bar and fram but it doesnt bother me. the downside to H3s is the backspacing, thats why we rub with them
