TPMS - How do you turn it off?

New wheels, No sensors, warning light constantly.

How do you make it stop? Dealer disable only?

If you're comfortable dissassembling your cluster, you can remove the LED for the idiot light, then just deal with clearing the DIC everytime you crank the truck up.

Re: TPMS - How do you turn it off?

why dont you just install the stock tpms back in. because if i remember right correct me if im wrong once they are put in its illegal to remove them if your vehicle comes with them. thats just what i have been told.

Re: TPMS - How do you turn it off?

I doubt it's illegal, although it might fail an inspection if your state does inspections....

And it's a pain to install them since the tires have to be dismounted.

You could also just place black tape over the led that bothers you.

Re: TPMS - How do you turn it off?

Or you could swap in an older cluster that doesn't have TPMS support...

Re: TPMS - How do you turn it off?

Hit up Ivan, I just sent him 3 clusters and I think he has one without tps. Might as well knock out 2 at once. Led your cluster and get rid of tps and the DIC warning.

its not really a pain if you take it to a place that knows how to do it or even has the right machine like we do at work with a hydrolic arm
