Not to beat a dead horse, but what size spacer would bring you back to original width after a 2" tb crank? Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com Free App |

I put BFG A/T KO 32 X 11.50-15 on the standard wheels and standard suspension...with 54 miles on the truck. I know have just over 60,000 miles on my 2008 GMC Canyon Crew Cab. The only rubbing I ever had was the right front mudflap, and just barely...nothing a little trimming wouldn't fix, or just not having mudflaps on the front might do the trick. I'm getting new tires in a month or so, and I'll buy 4 of the same, keeping the best spare to mount on another full-size rim for a spare. The only new modification I'll have to do is taking the truck in to an exhaust shop with the new full-size spare and having the exhaust moved a bit for a proper fit. The 32's were chosen after exhaustive research on this forum and many other sites. They fit and look good, and have performed beyond my expectations as well as lasted a long time. I'm pleased enough with my choice that I'm going to do it again. Good Luck!

I've run BFG tires 4 times on the last two GMC trucks I've had. Replaced the ones on the Jimmy with 30.5 x 9.50's ( all 5 ) which were a step up from the stock 235/75's. Improved the look and traction/handling. Same with the Canyon. Overall, this tire meets my needs, which are 90% street/highway. Off-road, they are excellent, as I don't really do any driving there in the mud. If I did, I'd go with the Mud-Terrain, but they have a very slight disadvantage on rain/ice/snow. Yep, I like the BFG products.

I don't think 32's fit bone stock. Depends on what year...the 2012 maybe with a taller crank from factory. My Z85 would definitely not clear 32's on stock. I expect at the least to have to lift the front to level. My understanding is that you can't just take off a 30.6" tire and install a true 32x11.5 without some problem. Not to mention, an 11.5" tire (IMO) is too wide for a 7" wheel. I'm using basic Z71 assumptions. A Z85 requires more work. |

I know we can't all trust the internet, but I'm telling you my story with all the details, including the slight rubbing on the right front mudflap. The tires fit just fine on the 7-inch stock wheels with stock suspension. I appreciate your opinion, but my facts are true.

That's cool. It depends on the truck and the wheels about 32's. I wasn't trying to say you made it up that it fits. As for the width, I wasn't trying to imply they won't fit. However, in my opinion a 7" wheel is too narrow for an 11.5" tire for proper surface contact. And if anybody cares, BFG says the minimum width wheel for the 32x11.5" tire is 8". |

Indeed, that is correct. In as much as it's worked over 60,000 miles for me, I'm happy with the results!
