Totaled the Pumpkin

Well a few weeks back I was heading to work in very heavy rain. I approached an elevated part of the interstate where there's a slight hump. There must have been a lot of standing water that day because as I crossed the hump the truck hydroplaned. I saved it from hitting the wall twice before it whipped on me and spun into the wall.

Insurance gave me 11k for the truck. I recently bought a 2010 gmc sierra. I won't be leaving you guys any time soon. I believe the friendships I've made go further than owning the same damn trucks.

Here's the new truck soon to be a 5/7 drop on 24s

Sorry about the Colorado. That was a good-looking truck. I'm sure the new truck will be sweet too though.

Re: Totaled the Pumpkin

damn you ended up just like my truck did but on the opposite side of the highway. I didn't hit my front end though, I wish I did because this truck is becoming a nightmare now since it wasn't totaled.

Good luck with the new truck and glad you were okay.

Re: Totaled the Pumpkin

Thanks guys. I loved this truck. I was really reliable (after I bypassed the pass lock issue lol). I was torn between buying another Colly or upgrading and after thinking about it I went with the full sized because I got more for my dollar. Jeremy, insurance wanted 4500 for the truck. The most I was willing to buy it back at was 2500 so I decided to let them have it. My friend spotted the truck nearby at a body shop. I hope I never recognize that truck on the road. I don't know how I'll act to that.

This is the pic of it at the body shop

Re: Totaled the Pumpkin

I swear these insurance companies are high....when it comes to buying back!

I'm glad that you walked away from it and the insurance company gave you a fair claim amount
