I'm thinking about making a mini meet between the Buffalo and Rochester people in the spring. I haven't been on this site in some time because I've been so busy. I have my truck ripped apart to replace my heater core so I can have heat again. I'll probably be on here a bit more when the weather is warmer to catch up again. I know there's another guy in Rochester and a few in Buffalo. I do have to fix a few things before I get back to off-roading the truck but I'd like to get back to Mettowee.

That's cool. You'll make good money in the northeast. April 1st will be a year that I topped out. What took you so long lol. You'd be close to 1/3 of the way done since the last time we talked.

I forgot your in NY. You'll want to look up NEAT. Welcome to NorthEastern Joint Apprenticeship & Training That's the apprenticeship for the north east.

I went through SELCAT. Their out of newnan georgia. SELCAT Southeastern Line Constructors Apprenticeship & Training. It takes roughly about 3.5 years to go through the apprenticeship but its on the job training. Those college classes and stuff are slightly a waste of $$ besides some experience. I know selcat really doesnt recognize them.

Our low beams are 9006 bulb. Fog is a 9045 but they don't make them in that size. But.... You can use 9005 or h10. Both do fit. I found the h10 is the easiest to fit. Just takes some patience to get the bulb in. When your talking about the h. It's just for different size bulbs.

I had 35watt 3000k in the fogs and 6000k in the lows. Nothing in the highs since they were not needed once I got hids. I used DDm tuning with both of my trucks.

Not too bad. At full lock. I drove it around for a long time before cutting them off. I just had to swing way out to do a u-turn. Just be careful on the offset of the wheels. 4.5" backspacing, 0 offset is best. I have 4.25" backspacing and I sometimes rub on the inner fender flare. You may be different since I have the plastic flares.

I would just crank the stock ones but make sure you read up on the differential drop and do that otherwise you will have some cv joint issues. I got 3" out of my stock ones no problem when I originally had a TB crank. About your shackles, our trucks are 1" lower in the back so I suggest just using an add-a-leaf or a 2" shackle max so that your rear is level to the front or sagged a little bit. The truck looks a lot better those ways over the stock stance with a squatted front end.

They were forged and didn't have a brand listed on them. I think I paid around $70 shipped for them. If your stock just looking to TB crank then I wouldn't buy the keys unless your truck is a higher mileage and the torsion bars have sagged.
