Finally got my set of DRLs with clear reflectors installed. Got rid of those Xtreme ones, such an eye sore, Mucho better.

Right out of the box from Dan the Man himself.

Compared to the STOCK Xtreme DRL.

Installed.

While you are prepping for Matthew, I am eating lunch in Biloxi, Mississippi on my way to New Orleans.....what's wrong with this picture? I will be back home Thursday....just in time for Matthew to arrive.....but without any time to prepare....good thing I live inland.

Well.....
Hurricane Matthew made the roads around here a total mess, I don't t think I've ever seen my truck this dirty.

But I spent some time yesterday cleaning her up and finally washing the new wheels and tires.

Not bad. I definitely need to get a different set of reflectors for mine. Such a subtle thing but makes a huge difference.
Yea, the reflectors really clean up the front of these trucks.

So I stumbled across this youtube video that has some sentimental value to the truck and me. The truck in the video isn't mine, but the details in the description are of my truck, for sale, back in 2011.

This video was posted on January 13, 2011 by the Duval Mazda dealership in Jacksonville, FL. I purchased the truck almost exactly a month later on Feb 12, 2011. The truck had just over 118k miles, I am definitely positive that this is my truck.

As some of you may have noticed, I was promoted to a Moderator of the Forum. I am pretty stoked, been wanting this for years.

Any who, I've been super swamped with work since the boss was out of town for a while, but the annual DwnTyme car show was coming up. I had some small things to finish, paint some stuff up front, the lower bumper center grille and some parts on the brakes, just to clean things up a bit, and give the coilovers some love.

For the life of me I could not get the lower center grille out to paint it. So I found some cards and painted it where it was. Not the way I wanted to do it, but it worked better than I expected.

All freshened up and ready for the show.
