I have a 2007 GMC Canyon SLE recently purchased I am unable to find the wiring harness t to the transfer case which happens to have been cut out right behind the transmission so none of the connectors are there just a bundle of cut wire. The truck is still in 4wd. Which wires do I need to connect, and to where to send back to 2wd until I can find a wiring Harness. The front drive shaft has been removed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know that. I meant the transfer case is still locked in. If the front drive shaft was installed it would be turning. I want to turn it off. The harness has been a pain to find and I cant even find the connectors that go to the transfer case. I'm trying to turn it where its not in 4hi mode. Back to 2.

If anyone can even take a photo of each connector attached to the transfer case for this year model showing the wire colors I could wire it in myself. I think theres only 3 connectors.

Best I could come up with at 0200 hours. Hope it helps at least alittle. This is from a 2010 shop manual.

That does help. Thank you. Btw where do I get that manual. Would be very handy.
Your welcome!

I negotiated the shop manual in with the purchase of my truck when I bought it at the dealership.

They are kinda expensive but worth it if you keep vehicles for a long time and perform your own maintenance. Pretty sure they can be picked up on EBay fairly easy.

Good luck with your project.

Based on the limited information you supplied I believe this to be a transfercase neutral switch # 98180974 .
