Damm, there not cheap. once you separate the good ones
from the bad the price jumps up a lot. I found 2 good companys
Harland Sharp and Lanati Voodoo that are priced right around
$400.00 bucks. most other top brands are way over priced.

Yeah, they're not cheap!
Comp sells a set of 8 pro magnums for $220.
When I do my cam I think I'm gonna just do the trunnion upgrade for $150.

Do you have full roller rockers now Al. ? I would let it settle in for a couple thousand miles along with a few other bolt ons for the cost of the 1.8's. Harmonic Balancer/Underdrive Pulley - slponline.com. Get the efan installed and an exhaust that will allow you to take the cats off real quick like. Retune and dyno with the AC belt off. Here's to more power. I don't know if 350whp is your goal but that should put you in that range with that cam. Oh and you will need a transmission cooler.

Joe, already have the SLP pulley, not going to mess with the cats, only have the small
front ones on.have a trans cooler on the workbench. working on putting on the e-fan.
all my dyno runs will be in full street trim, that's how i race. the rockers are the
way to go to get what i want.

Tony, where did you see Comp rollers that cheap ? 500.00 to 600.00 for LS bolt
thru rockers. I did the trunnion upgrade, and push rods. cool deal

spend your money on a cam swap vs bigger rockers.

Search a little more before getting the Harland Sharp rockers

Your stock rockers are plenty, just do the trunion upgrade and be done with it.

X2 no need for 1.8 rockers they're overkill on our engines. Trunion upgrade is more than enough protection for our rockers.

I already did the cam, springs, push rods and trunnions, just looking to bump my
int side a little more on the cam.
Soul, thanks. they won't fit with stock valve covers. only need 8 for the int side.

a small Comp VVT. 210/224--.556/.568--114 LCL
Comp screwed me on this cam, they recommended the wrong cam
for me, this cam is for a L92 6.2 with square port heads. they don't
have a 5.3 VVT cam. it's a long story we talked about before on
there.

this is a DD and tow vehicle, also long distance driver. that's why no conv or 3:73's
had all that stuff in my last truck. not very fun on long trips and a real gas sucker.
