Great build!

How do you like the 275/40/18s on the Xtreme wheels? Any issues with rubbing?

@BlinD26

I love them, the 275s up front makes the front of the truck feel completely different in a good way.

Rubbing.... only a little at full lock, and that's only because I have the larger Belltech sway bar. Full lock is bad anyways

@1BADI5 do you have a part number or link to where you found these:

- Flywheel to crank bolts - Fastenal, $8.89
- clutch pressure plate to flywheel bolts - Fastenal, $2.19

Also, you did the short shifter kit...did you use the Floor shifter boot (GM 15840127) still with that?

@1BADI5 Not trying to be a pest my man but I have more questions:

Did you replace your input shaft seal on the transmission? I didn't see it mentioned anywhere and if not, why not?

When you replaced your output shaft seal, how did you remove it? Do you have any pictures?

How much fluid did you need for your clutch hydraulics?

THANKS!

Justin you're better off replacing all of the seals before you install just as a preventative maintenance plus bring that you got it from a yard they normally won't warranty it if you don't change seals and fluid. Some yards do a 1yr and some do 30-90 day warranties.

You shouldn't need no more than 1 qt of fluid if that to flush the whole system out with new fluids.

gotcha, didn't think clutch fluid would be much. Plan already was to replace the input and output on mine, was just curious why he didn't on his.

Any part numbers for these bolts by chance? If so might be a good idea to add to the OP.

Awesome thread, I'm currently gathering parts to swap my '07. Should be able to dive in in a couple more weeks once everything is shipped.

When you ordered your shift boot, did it come with the trim ring? Or did you source that from somewhere else? I see shifters/boots on ebay but they don't come with the trim
