I did a 2/3 drop. Ball joint drop in the front with new shocks and oem springs. I'm not fully satisfied with the ride. I feel like I hear the springs creak from time to time and if I drive in a dip in the road it rubs. I was wondering if there was other options people have done and liked the ride without problems. Idk maybe this is some of the things with lowered trucks.

Are you ZQ8? I wouldn't think a 2/3 drop would rub on a Z85 unless you have tall tires. Some new springs can be had for cheap around here, but these are the things you can expect when lowering. Just know there are solution to an extent

Thats a suspension package. ZQ8's sit about an inch lower from the factory due to specific coil and leaf springs.

Just give the creaks about a month, and you wont notice them anymore haha. Welcome to the life of low.

Go with the best, QA1.
Love mine!

And they're rebuildable.

All part-numbers here:

Call QA1 though... they have a kit with all the parts in one order-number.

The Belltech coilovers are good, an all in one kit. You reuse the tophats and hardware from your factory struts

I have almost 80,000 miles on mine....its time for a new set though.

Oh yeah, totally forgot that.
Thanks for correcting me!

The folks at Naake are great, especially Mike.

OP, the QA1'a ain't cheap, but it's the way to go, well worth the cost and effort if you really want a street-truck.

There is a guy in the limited vendor section Tony aka Norcal SS.

He has great prices shipped.

If not there are some decent deals on eBay right now
