I bought a used 2005 Canyon, repaired a lot of thing. But now when stating the engine, it starts the cuts off it does not idle. I have to start it a dozen times or more before it will idle. After it idles it runs great. What could be the problem?

Does this happen with every start? What has been done, so far, to try to correct the problem?

I'd start by checking for fuel pressure before trying to start it when cold. If it runs fine after starting up, it could be a fuel pressure leak down while sitting.

Replaced the throttle body, 2 coil packs, vapor canister

It only happens after it sits a few days, my mechanic has give up

Now it only cranks starts and stops?????
