Hi,
New to the forum as I recently bought a 2006 GMC Canyon Crew Cab from Impact Auctions here in Canada. The truck was in an accident. It was hit on the back left corner and the back window was completely gone. There is also 2 dents on the box. Currently fixing it up with the help of my Gf's dad who is a body man. Figured it would be perfect to post under this section. I'll be posting progress as things get done. There will be lots of pictures! To start here are pictures of it when it was at the auction site.

Nice to see it getting done the right way.
Thanks guys.

The new roof is cut and ready to go on. Going to get it positioned on the truck for welding tomorrow.
Thought about finding some zq8 fender flares for this truck and colour matching them. What do you guys think?
Yesterday got the roof on the truck to see where it needs to be trimmed to fit.

Roof is primered and ready for paint. Started pulling out the dents in the box today. Another day or so and that will be done and primered.

Truck should be done sometime next week then off for an inspection since it's a salvage title, then safety, etest and on the road.

Dents in box pulled out and smoothed out as best I can and applied bondo and sanded down both sides. Truck has also been primered and ready for paint.

What colour are you painting it? Synergy Green? Inferno Orange?

I'll look into that award.

I'm gonna keep the colour the same throughout. I believe it's superior blue.

That's what I figured. Nothing wrong with that.

Just for now I'm going to get it back to where it was before the accident. May change quite a few things down the road. Depends on how hard the mod bug bites me lol.
Damn,I was going to say chop the top 2" since you were replacing the roof anyway, but it looks like I'm a little too late!
