A letter from GM came home by mid July past year.
Its funny how people on the media don´t know a shit about cars, the pictured truck is not even a 2012, and its not even the truck involved in the recall. The pictured one is the global shitty platform and its made in Thailand, while the recalled one is the 355 platform made in US.

Mine was checked before the recall notice was mailed.
Mine was OK.
Was told if part was missing then a whole new hood would be required.
