Hey all, I know questions about tire sizes have been asked a million times.
But I'm living in Mississippi right now and am looking to get new tires, because right now I have goodyear wrangler highway tires, which are not good for the sand and dirt.
I've got my torsion bars cranked way up (with the ball joint and diff fixes, don't worry), and an extra leaf in the rear.
Will I be able to clear 285/70 R17 tires under there? the front is my biggest concern, and I'm not sure if I should be more worried of the diameter or the width of the tire. I'm also thinking about getting 255/80 R17 if the width of the 285's is a problem. They're slightly taller and slightly cheaper. The 17x9 wheels have 4.5" backspacing, btw. Probably gonna be toyo open country A/T, or falken wildpeak A/Ts, if anyone was wondering.
Thanks for the help!
