Is there any benefit to one or the other? Is one capable of reading more airflow, more accurate, etc? I searched my ass off but couldn't find anything.

When doing a 3.7 swap from 3.5 do I use the 3.5 MAF or 3.7 MAF? (Would be using a 3.5 AEM BF intake.)

Mostly just curiosity about this.

I think I know what your asking? If possibly the same freq on the card style MAF may read lower than the 1st gen MAF? If that's the case, I have no clue, but have thought the same thing as being boosted I'd much rather swap MAF and get a little further with my current charge pipe than going clear up to 4in charge pipe.

In the first part I was just wondering which one has higher flow reading capacity.

And thanks xkmac for the answer about the second part

Your stock one should be sufficient for your needs
That is fine but I am still just curious if one is capable of reading higher flow than the other.

In terms of what's in the tune...

The 04-06 MAF peaks at 39 lbs/min whereas the 07 MAF peaks at 43 lbs/min.
This could just as well be differences in the maf tube, hard to say.
