4 wheel drive selector lights

OK so my 4 wheel drive selector lights have all burned out. Has anyone ever swapped them to LED? If so how did you go about it? I know that the stock lights for those buttons are technically LEDs but they are surface mount crap. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

If they all went out at once, its likely just the power or ground pin in the connector worked loose. Just pop the bezel and push on the wires toward the connector.

Nah they burned out one by one over the course of a year.
Another example of GM quality. I've had to replace almost all of the electronics/knobs etc. in the cab due to burnt out lights.

Some automotive electronic shops can replace the LEDs. The price, up here in Canada anyway, is about the same as replacing the unit unfortunately.
Yes, @1BADI5 swapped most of his interior gauge lighting w/LED's...I'm sure he'll offer some advice when he sees this post. I'm looking into doing the same, but will have to push off as I restarted online college classes so spare time's limited.
