55w drops the color output

Id suggest 5000K for the whitest, but you'll need to order 6000K in 55w
yeah I've got 8K 55W but they're about the color of 6k 35W
right on thanks for the info guys i just wana get the best white light output not a fan of the blue
have you looked on their website?

HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning

click on the "bulb color" tab next to "description" to see the color chart for 35w and 55w
yeah i was looking at that but i was looking at getting some pics of some real time photo's like yeah they have a chart but it could be different and they said it also depends on the housing and stuff like that so what better place there here to see the true colors
I know your looking for 55w but this is 5k at 35w

see thats the white i want no blue at all
whats the real difference between 35 and 55w? was looking at DDM's color chart, and 6k 35 is hint of blue, and 6k 55w is white...
Heres 8000K 55W on my 05 Crew Cab. I love these cuz they are just a lil hint of blue but are extremely bright. Sorry bout the shitty pic. Dumbass blackberry.

Nick the difference is the power output. The stock halogen light in out trucks use 55w. The 35w is just a lower power output. I.E. less heat and the colors don't wash out as bad as with 55W

Heres the difference: the headlights are 35w 5000K and the hellas are 55w 5000K there is definitely a difference and it is more noticeable in person... i wish i would have got the 55w in 6k.

Why do you wish you woulda got the 55w in 6000k I'm just trying to get the brightest light outta the hid's I can
this prolly gonna sound newbish, but i never messed with HIDS, but these are put into stock housings with no problems?

Ya, all you have to do is mount a ballast, i think that there is a how to on here somewhere...
and get 5000k if you go with 35w and 6000k if you go with 55w it will be pure white and super bright:thumbup:

You can't really see it in the pictures, but in person there is a difference in the beam color. I wish they were the same...
Check out my album I have a pic of the 55w 4500k from ddm. Id post it if my phone wasnt being a jerk right now.
I have 55w 6K in both low and fog (harness for each). Very nice. High beam (Silverstar Ultras) is a downgrade in output, lol. Blue tint on start up but before I am out of the garage at full white brilliance, no hint of blue.

Yeah nick I just glanced at the.howto. It is pretty straight foward. They say you have to flip the polarities but I only had to flip one. The rest were fine
