I managed to get the H3 shifter to work with my factory cable by dremeling and "fabbing" a retaining clip. If I were to do it over again, I'd just bite the bullet and get the H3 cable though.

I still need to hook up the wires for the brake release solenoid, and create some sort of trim ring/boot combo to hide everything.

Nothing exciting. Scored a 5-speed column surround at a junk yard to the tune of 4 dolla! Should clean up just fine.

Finally came out of storage!

Got a new inspection, replaced the deteriorated wiper cowl, and gave it a bath. New tail lights are on the way.

I sold my replacement wiper cowl. Need to get another one. Mine is in worse shape than yours.

Funny thing I have noticed on some of these trucks. The VIN on the dash is partially blocked since some of the foam insulation covers it.

Now you can bring it to Atco this Saturday and go racing...hint hint

I can only do so much around family functions, vacations, and house projects. So those are the 3 things I've told people I'm going to no matter what.

I also have to keep this thing under 5k miles a year, and those weekends attribute to almost 1/3 of my allotment.

Got clear corner headlights for this pile. They look nice I suppose.

Cleaned up the rad support while I had everything out.







Degreased the engine bay a bit. Didn't go too crazy, but it looks much better.



Went to a local car cruise over the weekend. Estimates were around 1100 cars showed up. Got lots of curious looks with the hood open.
