does anybody know if the I5 alternator and the I6 alternator are interchangable i know the throttle bodies are the same and the alternators look like they bolt on the same just want to know for sure.

I felt like being useful and did a cross-reference on autozone.com they don't interchange.

i have an extra one. i changed one on a used car at work not knowing that the megafuse was burnt. hahahaha. if you want it you'll have to pay for shipping from hawaii LOL. i doubt youd want that.

Jay...is it the 125amp off the 3.7? Possibly want to go higher from the 3.5 one...and i assume its all bolt up and play?

its from a 3.5 but i believe the are interchangable with the 3.7s

yeah i thought the 3.5 had 100amp, and the 3.7 125amp...right??

nope...sure dont. mines good i just want 2 get a bigger one
2004 ---2006 is a 100 amp ... 2007 is a 125 amp ...cost is $212.

there is two different alts ? 2004 --2006 100amp and 2007 till 2008 is a 125...
my question is are they the same case size and how do the get the bigger amp load ? can they be inter-changed ?

i believe they are interchangable. not sure about the case sizes though. ive never put a 3.7 alt and 3.5 side by side. sorry that i cant help you there.
