Exactly WHERE is the pigtail for the ambient temp sensor for the inside mirror? I've got my grille off. I found the hole for the sensor in the vertical support. There are two gizmos on either side of the bottom support with pigtails plugged into them, but neither pigtail is lt grn/bk and bk. I've looked EVERYWHERE and can't find the pigtail even though the proper wires are on my mirror plug. My truck is an 08 quad cab 4WD I5, no power seats or sunroof, but everything else. A pic would be a GREAT help!

Not all models of any vehicle come pre-wired for all the options. You need to hit up a JY, gank a temp sensor and both ends of the connector then run your own wire. It's what I did, working great.

There's a harness behind your air box, if your truck is wired for it then they are there. See post 26 in the following link, wire color and pics are in it. You will have to pull the air filter box to get to them. I believe the wire colors are green & green with white stripe, you'll see them when you pull the harness, they go in to one side of the harness coming from the cab of the truck, but don't come out the other side going to the front of the truck. Also I picked up my sensor off of ebay, just search for a gentex temp sensor.
